Liberals Blame Trump For Passenger Plane Shot Down By Iran

Iran shot down a plane with a missile. 176 innocent lives were lost because the Islamic regime that runs Iran has no idea how to tell the difference between a passenger plane and a military aircraft.

For all those people bitching about our military spending, we saw how valuable it was when we took out Qassem Soleimani without having to drop a dozen missiles.

Do people realize how precise our military was in taking out one of the most dangerous men in the world? Sure, it’s pretty terrifying that our military has drones capable of vaporizing a guy completely unsuspected, but that’s what our tax dollars went to. And guess what, it worked!

Meanwhile, Iran shot down a passenger plane AFTER launching a few dozen rockets at military bases holding U.S. troops.

Naturally, folks on the left, and in the Great White North, put the blame on the shoulders of President Trump, just like everything else.

Rob Kent, a 42-year-old Toronto resident, said “One man, and only one, is responsible for those deaths. And he will never face consequences for them.”

The Atlantic’s senior editor David Frum wrote a scathing piece blaming the president for the loss of life as well.

“No American paid a price for President Donald Trump’s decision to kill Iran’s Qassem Soleimani,” he wrote. “But it looks like 176 other people did, including 63 Canadian citizens and many more Iranian nationals en route to Canada.”

“Trump, of course, disclaims all responsibility, as he habitually does. He’s always been a credit-grabber and a responsibility-dodger,” Frum continued. “The victims of the crash of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 were not U.S. citizens, and certainly not residents of any state that Trump might win in 2020, so who cares, really? The loss of life had ‘nothing to do with us.’ It was a ‘mistake on the other side.’ The gun just went off; let’s not ask too many questions about who put the bullets in the chamber.”

He went on to say “Trump did not ask that question. Families across half the world are now grieving a consequence that Trump’s ego forbade him to imagine or ponder.”

Meanwhile, some folks in Canada are actually putting the blame, rightly so, on the country that actually shot down a passenger plane… You know, because they aren’t developed enough to be able to tell the difference…

“The community is overwhelmed with mourning and sadness,” said Payman Parseyan, a prominent Iranian-Canadian in western Canada.

“It takes two to tango,” he said. “It’s not hard to see the downing as a result of the escalation between the two countries. However, Iran is responsible for its own military defense equipment. While it has the right to defend itself, as it should to protect its own people, it should also have the responsibility with that right to make sure their defensive systems aren’t targeting civilian aircraft.”

Remind your friends of this when they talk about “the military spending”. Yeah, we spend a lot on our military, but that’s for good reason. We have weapons sophisticated enough to determine what aircraft is enemy, and what aircraft is a freaking passenger plane.
